You will need to meet with me, as soon as possible after you have set the date and chosen your venue.
Please be aware there are legal requirements for time periods relating to getting married. Notice must be given at least one month and one day before your ceremony.
Below are guidelines of general documentation required. I will be able to inform you if further documentation is needed upon hearing your individual circumstances.
You will need to have the following documents with you:
- Original Birth Certificates
- If born outside of Australia and Birth Certificates are unavailable, you will need to passports with certified copies
- If you have been married before, you will need Original Decree Nisi/ Original Divorce Certificate or Original Death Certificate with certified copies
- Full names of two witnesses (these must be over 18years of age and will be attending the ceremony and prepared to sign the Wedding documentation)
At this meeting, the style of your Wedding will be discussed as well as what you may want to include in your Ceremony, It is a time for guidance and enjoyment with each of us getting acquainted with one another.
It is my goal for this meeting that you leave with a refreshed motivation and enthusiasm for your Wedding Day, knowing that your Ceremony is in good hands.
